Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaathuhu brothers and sisters I hope you're well. In this blog I will tell you about arrival of Imam Mahdi but before this let me tell you something about grand personality it was such a personality that it has not been along since his passing. But Allah almighty granted him such knowledge and insight that he had command over more than a hundred branches of knowledge he had expertise in more than a hundred sciences and he authored more than a thousand books. It was non other than sayyidi A'la hazrat, imam-e-imam-e-ahle-sunnat maulana shah imam Ahmed raza khan once A'la hazrat was asked, what is the rightly guided caliphate ? And who are entitled to it ? He gave an excellent reply; he said, the rightly guided caliphate means the reign which conforms to the holy prophets, teachings for example the four rightly guided caliphs Sayyiduna abu bakr siddiq, Sayyiduna umar farooq, sayyiduna usman ghani, and maula ali after that imam hasan and then ameer-ul- mumineen sayyiduna umar ibn abdul aziz held that caliphate. And he said, i think imam mahdi will establish such a rightly guided caliphate. It means there has to come such a caliphate and reign which will constitute the rightly guided caliphate. Scholars have counted the advent of imam mahdi as one of the grand signs of judgement day. It is said that before judgment Day such a time will come when disbelief will prevail everywhere in the world i.e, disbelievers will rule across the world and the entire world will become replete with tribulations and Turbulence. And people will get indulged in Luxuries and pleasure time will pass so speedily that a year will become like a month; a month will become like week and a week will pass like a day this will be the time when people's ages will become short people will brawl with each other and become thirsty for each other's life and blood Christians will dominate the entire world at the time .
The ancient Rome, syria and all the Islamic countries will be lost by the Muslim's the entire world become the land of disbelief Muslims will be founds only in Makkah and Madinah and in the same places islam will exist therefore, at that time all the auliya of Allah will leave their places and migrate to Makkah and Madinah. Remember that it will be the month of Ramadan now look at scenario imagine that it will be the month of Ramadan; abdaal will be busy performing the tawaf of holy kabah sayyiduna imam mahdi will also be present there and at that time he will be forty; he will have been forty years old. Auliya will recognise him and request him to let them pledge allegiance to him he will decline then suddenly a voice will be heard from the sunseen all these signs which I am telling you are mentioned in Ahadith in sequence and stages and it has been extracted from the same Ahadith and scenario is being presented and what will that voice be ? This is the vicegerent of Allah, mahdi listen to him and obey his order then all people will the pledge allegiance to him. And from there together with all of them he will leave for Syria and there he will confront dajjal or Antichrist . One of the important signs of judgment Day is the advent of imam Mahdi the advent of imam mahdi is not only mentioned in one or two Ahadith rather it is mentioned in 200 to 250 Ahadith and the sayings of tabi'een umm-ul-momineen Sayyidatuna umm-e-salamah narrates that she heard the holy prophet saying Mahdi is a fact, i.e, advent is a fact it will certainly happen. And he further said, imam Mahdi will be the one of the descendants of fatimah al zahra this hadith makes it quite manifest that at least imam Mahdi will certainly appear and he is a personality who will be one of the descendants of Sayyidatuna fatimah. A very important point is that Mahdi is not his name rather it is his title.
Sayyiduna Abdullah ibn masood narrates that the holy prophet said, the world will not end until one of my ahl-e-bayt will become the king of Arab. Whose name will be similar to mine i.e, Mohammad while stating some other attributes of his, the last prophet of Allah Almighty said, Mahdi will be of my stock; he will have a tin projected nose and a bright, luminous forehead. His complexion will be like the Arabs his right cheek will have a mole and his character will be like the holy prophet he will have a lot of generosity, mercy and kindness in his disposition auliya will recognise imam Mahdi but such signs have also been stated in different narrations through which imam Mahdi will be recognise.
1. Imam Mahdi will have clouds over his head from which a proclaimer will say Mahdi is the vicegerent of Allah Almighty obey him, follow him.
2. In the reign of imam Mahdi dry wood will be pitched in a dry land so a green branch along with leaves will begin to grow from it.
3. If anyone asks imam Mahdi about any sign he will point to a bird flying in the air and that bird will come and sit on his hand
4. Like bani Israel the river will split for him and because of his advent the land will be filled with justice as it was replete with oppression before justice and fairness will prevail everywhere before his advent, oppression and cruelty will be prevalent everywhere.
It is mentioned in a Hadith that sayyiduna abu saeed khudri states that the holy prophet mentioned a grave ordeal which his ummah is about to encounter he told him about a big trouble and said, such fierce oppression will be committed that there will be no place for refuge. At that time Allah Almighty will create a person from my descendants who will fill the earth with equality and justice. he will fill it as it had been filled with oppression and tyranny the dwellers of the earth and the heaven all of them will be pleased with him the heaven will shower all it's rain heavily and the earth will bring forth all its produce so much so that the living people will wish the people who left the world in a state of poverty and oppression before them had also seen these circumstances. Everybody will be happy it will be a time of prosperity everywhere the earth will be bringing out its treasures there will be justice and fairness what will those Circumstances be like when peace will prevail everywhere and oppression and tyranny will have been eradicated? It has been beautifully portrayed in another hadith as well hence sayyiduna abu saeed khudri narrates that the holy prophet said, i gave you the glad tidings of mahdi's advent who will be sent to my ummah in times of conflict and anxiety it will be quite a difficult time so, he will fill the earth with equity and justice as it was replete with oppression and tyranny before him. The people of the earth and the heaven all of them will be pleased with him he will give equally wealth to people in his caliphate, Allah Almighty will instill contentment in the hearts of my ummah i.e, everyone will be satisfied they will not need
anything and justice will be prevalent he will order his proclaimer to proclaim that the one who needs wealth should come to Mahdi. Upon this announcement only one person from all the Muslims will come i.e, the people will be so well-off that they will not need wealth Imam Mahdi will tell him: go to the treasurer and tell him that imam Mahdi has sent you to him to get wealth when this person gets to the treasurer he will say to him you can take as much wealth as you need you can take as much wealth as you wish so he wilk stuff his garment with as much wealth as he wishes and when he will bring it out of the treasury he will feel ashamed of the action as well and think that he is the Greediest and most covetous person of the ummah of holy prophet isn't what is sufficient for others enough for me? Because of this embarrassment he will want to return the wealth but it will not be accepted from him and it will be said that once we have given, we do not take it back, what have we leant from the whole narration? When there is equity and justice everywhere the real image of religion is implemented on the earth and the actual Islamic ways are implemented then poverty does not exist anymore. The actual poverty, the actual problems and issues are because of the remoteness from the religion Imam Mahdi will come imto this world and prove that if Islam is implemented properly then everything can become alright anyway, the fortunate people who will support imam Mahdi will also have their distinct splendour and excellence.
Sayyiduna Ali was asked about imam Mahdi so he replied, Mahdi will appear in the end times. Allah Almighty will gather a congregation near him just like he gathers separate pieces of clouds and he will cause affection amongst them. They will neither fear anyone nor will they become happy to see a reward from anyone the number of those who will gather near the caliph Mahdi will be 313. In relation to the number of the people of badr i.e, the companions who participated in the battle of badr. This congregation will be granted a special excellence which was neither granted to those before them, nor will it be granted to those after them moreover, the number of this congregation will be equal to the number of the people of Talut who crossed the Jordan river along with Talut. Here, I want share some important information with you that nowadays on social media different prediction about imam Mahdi are made that imam Mahdi has arrived or he is about to come anyway, this is quite a difficult question it's a complicated question i.e, when will he arrive? When exactly will imam Mahdi appear? Giving a hundred percent correct reply to this question is difficult but there are some signs which will occur before imam Mahdi arrives. Some facts I have told you in the beginning whereas now be will briefly tell you further distinct signs. The very first of the signs which will occur before imam Mahdi arrives is that the river Euphrates will split from the mountain and it's gold will begin to appear from it. Before his advent, a lunar eclipse will occur on the first day of Ramadan and on the same day a solar eclipse will occur during the afternoon and such an eclipse will never have occurred before. This is the second grand sign and for three or seven nights, a big fire will appear in the east and great earthquakes will occur as well and before the advent of imam Mahdi, one sign which is regarded as the greatest sign by scholars is that Constantinople which we call Istanbul today and which is the capital of Turkey will once again fall into the hands of non Muslims. Yes as I told you in the beginning that before his advent, disbelief will have spread all around the world and the entire world will have become the land of disbelief so when all the people pledge allegiance to imam Mahdi. Then the time will come that once again Constantinople i.e, Istanbul will be held by Muslims yes imam Mahdi along with all his people will come to Constantinople from there and conquer Constantinople while the matter will be in progress, an uproar will be caused and it will be heard that dajjal has arrived; dajjal has arrived after hearing this, imam Mahdi along with all the people will leave for Syria but when they reach there they will come to know that the voice was uttered by Satan and he told a lie but after imam Mahdi arrives in Syria, dajjal will really appear and then imam Mahdi along with his troops will remain confined there i.e, he along with the people will remain in the same area meanwhile dajjal will travel all around the world after that sayyiduna Isa will descend on the eastern minaret of the great masjid of Damascus. When sayyiduna Isa will be sent down on the eastern minaret of the great masjid of Damascus it will be the time of Dawn iqamah will have been said for Fajr Salah, now the congregational Salah is about to start just imagine how the scene will be on one hand there is a prophet of Allah Almighty whereas on other hand there is an ummati of the chief of prophets. Now the question is who will lead fajar Salah at that time? Imam Mahdi is in the masjid as well as sayyiduna Isa has also arrived the hadith of the sayyiduna jabir he says that the holy prophet said; dajjal will appear when the religion will be in a weak condition and after stating the details regarding dajjal he said after that Isa ibn Maryam will come down from the heaven and will proclaim before dawn. O Muslims! What troubles you in confronting dajjal, the liar and accursed ? People will reply it is a creature like a jinn. Then the people will step forward and see, so they will see sayyiduna Isa then iqamah will be said for fajr Salah and the leader of the Muslims imam Mahdi will say: O Roohullah! Please come forward to lead Salah sayyiduna Isa will reply: only your imam should lead you in Salah. So at that time imam Mahdi will lead the Salah when the people finish their Salah they all together in the leadership of sayyiduna Isa will go out to confront dajjal now the condition of the dajjal will be that he will begin to melt by the fragrance of the breath of the sayyiduna Isa just like salt melts in water and the fragrance of the breath of the sayyiduna Isa will reach as far as one can see. He will run but sayyiduna Isa will chase him. And near the gate of lud, he will stab him in the back with a spear and thus he will be killed and sent to hell.
